Â
Looking for great talent?! Be an interviewer and meet talent directly!Â
Â
The LA Tech Talent Pipeline is a program created in partnership with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Mayor’s Tech Council, we aim to place 200 diverse young adults in paid internships at L.A. tech companies as part of the Mayor’s HIRE-LA Youth Summer Program and the LA Tech Talent Pipeline Internship Program. The goal is to provide more opportunities for LA’s young adults, many of whom are underrepresented in the tech community. Last year we worked with over 30 companies to place 150+ interns, with 40% of those interns getting a job offer afterwards. This was in huge thanks to the Startup Launch Program as 13 of those companies were early stage companies!
Â
The first round interview is not only a pivotal part of our internship program process, but serves as great professional development experience for our students, allowing them to interview with an industry professional and get feedback before we refer for another interview with any of our company partners. If you are interested in bringing on an intern, or just want to give back to the community here in Los Angeles feel free to take part! Find below the link to sign up to be and interviewer that day or any of our other interview days: http://signup.com/go/AUSOyTG

On Coworking Day, Inspiralia will de-mystify the Federal grant space for for-profit companies and present the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program and other Government Contracting opportunities. They will focus on federal contracts and federal grants, both funds that require no paying back and no equity. In this workshop you will learn where to find these opportunities, how to assess their fit with your company, and basic application tips followed by a Q&A session.
If you’re interested in SBIR funds and want a complimentary assessment of your tech by our expert team members, we will be offering office hours after the workshop and company visits throughout the week. During these office hours and company visits, Inspiralia's SBIR experts will talk with you regarding your company’s R&D goals and assess your fit for SBIR and Contracting funding.
